Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Brake Press Setup / Operator with extensive experience working with TRUMPF equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC press brake machines to produce high-quality metal components. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. The successful applicant will contribute to efficient manufacturing processes and ensure products meet strict quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC brake press machines, specifically TRUMPF models, ensuring precise fabrication of metal parts
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SETUP OF TRUMPF BRAND BRAKE PRESS
- Program CNC press brakes based on blueprints and technical specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery to minimize downtime
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Adjust machine parameters to optimize production efficiency and product quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with team members on assembly, welding, or other manufacturing tasks as needed
Skills
- Proven experience operating TRUMPF CNC brake presses or similar press brake machines
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in CNC programming and machining processes including CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC lathe, and milling machines
- Familiarity with welding techniques and quality inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances
- Knowledge of assembly processes within a manufacturing environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues quickly
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment

Pay: $28.00-$31.00 per hour
