Overview
We are seeking an experienced EDI Specialist-Fashion to a dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing electronic data interchange processes within fashion supply chain, ensuring seamless communication between trading partners and internal systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain operations, manufacturing, and ERP systems, with a focus on continuous process improvement and data analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize EDI transactions across various fashion supply chain partners, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist members in production, Logistics & sales teams
- Ensure the timely handling of urgent orders and work closely with the production and warehouse teams to meet deadlines.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the flow of goods, ensuring efficient coordination between suppliers, distribution centers, and customers.
- Very good understanding of ERP system with regards to distribution, product, building of a container, generating pick tickets and communication clearly with warehouse and retailers (major ands independent)
- Utilize EDI systems for processing orders, tracking shipments, and invoicing.
- Possess a solid grasp of costing goods and ensure cost-effective production and distribution strategies.
- Manage size runs, UPC labels, and ensure compliance with customer-specific labeling requirements.
- Maintain documentation of EDI workflows, procedures, and system configurations to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Assist in troubleshooting EDI issues and coordinate with IT teams for system
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills In English and French
- 5 + years of experience in production and distribution in the fashion industry
- Be able to work in fast paced environment
- Solid understanding of EDI systems, duty deferral, and logistics flow..
- Solid knowledge of Excel
- Experience with Major reatilers
- Knowledge of Visual Next ERP software a definite +.
