Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Perform component/parts rebuilds (e.g., pumps, motors, power units, gearboxes, cylinders, etc.)
- Work from service manuals and schematics to complete repairs to OEM standards
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Ensure repairs are completed safely and efficiently in compliance with company procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on heavy equipment components in an industrial or field setting
- Heavy Equipment Technician certification
- Red Seal Certification is considered an asset
- Experience with mining and industrial heavy equipment is a strong asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Safety-conscious with a clean work ethic and attention to detail
