Job Summary
We are in search of a Landscape Maintenance person to join our team. This position is physical, diverse, multifaceted, and hands-on.
Duties Include:
· Lawncare for 4 acres including mowing, weed trimming and weed control
· Pruning of trees and shrubs
· Snow removal
· Assist in the greenhouse as needed
Minimum Requirements:
· Valid Alberta driver’s license and a good driving record (willing to produce a recent driver’s abstract)
· 2 years experience of driving a Bobcat (or similar machine), skid steer, trucks and Sprinter vans
· Knowledge of small engine equipment and power tools
· Be physically fit to handle the demands of the position (heavy lifting is involved)
· Be very well organized and detail orientated
· Work independently as well as within a team environment and can take direction as needed
· Takes initiative
· Be positive, self motivated and energetic
· Have good verbal and written knowledge of the English language
· A background in tropical plants/horticulture would be an asset
**APPLICANTS MUST BE 25 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES**
Candidates must be available to work 4 - 5 days per week, 7:30am to 4:00pm. We are not open evenings or weekends. THIS IS A PERMANENT, YEAR-ROUND POSITION.
Our greenhouse facility is located in Springbank and it is your responsibility to find reliable transportation to the greenhouse.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
