Overview
We are seeking a talented and innovative Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in digital and visual design, with expertise in creating engaging, user-friendly websites that align with brand strategies and business goals. Responsibilities
- Design and develop visually compelling, responsive websites using tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Create engaging interaction designs, motion graphics, and UI elements that enhance user engagement.
- Collaborate with developers to implement front-end features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, React, and other frameworks.
- Optimize websites for SEO best practices and ensure web accessibility standards are met.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to refine website interfaces and improve overall user experience.
- Maintain and update existing websites through website maintenance tasks and content updates using WordPress, Drupal, or custom CMS solutions.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and information architecture diagrams to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Utilize data analysis tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics to monitor site performance and inform design improvements.
- Assist in digital marketing initiatives including email marketing campaigns via Mailchimp or similar platforms.
- Stay current with industry trends in digital design, interaction design, UX/UI principles, and web development technologies.
Experience
- Proven experience in digital design with a strong portfolio showcasing website projects across various industries.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe XD, Figma, InVision, Axure, Balsamiq.
- Solid understanding of front-end development including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular), PHP, MySQL databases.
- Experience with web accessibility standards (WCAG), SEO optimization techniques, and usability testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal is preferred.
- Knowledge of motion graphics using Adobe After Effects or Adobe Animate is a plus.
- Ability to analyze data from Google Analytics or similar tools to inform design decisions.
- Strong understanding of UX principles including user research, information architecture, typography, visual design, and interaction design.
