Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision and consistency, ensuring high-quality food service for our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during meal preparation
- Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and organized work station
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with serving guests in a fast-paced setting is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of the food industry standards for cleanliness and safety
