About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and highly organized Senior Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy Assistant to join our growing pharmacy team. This individual will play a key role in overseeing daily workflow, supporting team members, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional patient care.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, confident leader, and highly proficient in Kroll software with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Licensed Pharmacy Technicians will be compensated at a higher rate based on qualifications and scope of practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support pharmacy team in daily operations
- Manage workflow and ensure prescriptions are prioritized appropriately
- Accurately enter prescriptions, process refills, and adjudicate third-party claims using Kroll
- Assist with prescription preparation, dispensing, packaging, and labeling
- Coordinate communication with patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals
- Manage incoming faxes, refill requests, and prescription documentation
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
- Identify opportunities to enhance patient care and pharmacy services
- Support inventory management and operational efficiency initiatives
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient-focused work environment
Qualifications
- Previous pharmacy experience required
- Strong proficiency with Kroll software required
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Assets (not required):
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician
- Experience with non-sterile compounding
- Certification and experience administering injections/vaccinations
These qualifications are not required, but considered an asset that will be compensated accordingly.

Schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- Day and morning shifts

Experience
- Pharmacy: 5+ years preferred
- Kroll Software: 2+ years required
$24–33/hour, based on experience, licensure, and scope of practice
Licensed Pharmacy Technicians with compounding and injection/vaccination certification are eligible for higher compensation.
Pay: $24.00-$33.00 per hour
