Tarrabain Motors' Dodge, Ram, Jeep, Chrysler Dealership is looking for a Parts and Customer Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive parts sales and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our clients. As a Parts and Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their automotive needs, ensuring they receive the right parts for their vehicles while also contributing to the overall success of our dealership.
Duties
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients in identifying and sourcing the correct automotive parts for their vehicles.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to offer insights and recommendations on parts and accessories.
- Engage in upselling opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain an organized inventory of parts, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that all items are properly labeled.
- Process cash handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with mechanics and service advisors to ensure timely delivery of parts needed for repairs.
- Stay updated on new products, promotions, and industry trends to better serve customers.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to parts orders or availability.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dealership environment or automotive repair setting is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems is highly desirable.
- Proven sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of organization.
- Salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
