Position Summary
As a Stocker / Floor Associate / Cashier, you will play an important role in providing exceptional customer service while supporting the daily operations of the store. This position involves stocking merchandise, assisting customers, maintaining store standards, and processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system
- Maintain proper inventory levels on the sales floor and in coolers
- Restock shelves and ensure merchandise displays are clean and organized
- Receive and verify incoming orders, reporting discrepancies when necessary
- Maintain store cleanliness and appearance, both inside and outside the premises
- Perform opening and closing procedures as assigned
- Provide full-service fuel assistance, including professional fuel dispensing and window cleaning
- Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience is considered an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, punctual, and customer-focused
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 30 lbs, with occasional heavier lifting required
- Ability to push carts and perform repetitive stocking duties
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
- Ability to work in cooler environments for extended periods as required
Availability Requirements
- Store hours are 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM, seven days a week, including holidays
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Flexible availability is strongly preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation, as public transit is not available during operating hours
- Must be able to travel to and from the store for shifts beginning as early as 5:45 AM and ending as late as 12:00 AM
- Successful completion of a criminal record check is required
