Overview
We are urgently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing and Inventory Coordinator to join our Finance team. In this role, you will provide accounting support to trading operations through efficient and accurate billing, inventory administration, and freight payable processing. You will work closely with Traders, Logistics, and the Accounting team to ensure the timely and accurate processing of transactions, inventory activities, and freight-related costs while supporting the overall efficiency of the business.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate and communicate with the traders and other stakeholders in completing the billing cycle efficiently and accurately, including submission to the customer contacts.
- Communicate and coordinate with the Logistics team to ensure accurate shipment information, resolve freight-related discrepancies, and process freight payables in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review, enter, and reconcile freight payable invoices, ensuring costs are accurately recorded and matched to shipments and inventory transactions.
- Work with team lead in resolving irregularities, reconciling billing and inventory discrepancies and making necessary journal adjustments.
- Utilize accounting software and financial systems to manage billing and inventory efficiently and accurately.
- Provide coverage and support to the Inventory and Billing Team Lead and other Accounting staff as needed.
- Participate in month-end and year-end close activities as required.
- Provide billing and inventory metrics/KPIs.
- Compile information and backups for the preparation of traders’ commissions according to the company scheme.
- Set up inventory items in the system per the approved process.
- Maintain an organized record system.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Experience
- Accounting diploma or certification
- 1 - 3 years of experience in similar role within an ERP environment
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, billing coordination, or related financial roles
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Experience with data entry, account reconciliation, and financial analysis is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
