Field Project Manager
Location: Penticton, West Kelowna, Peachland & Summerland (Okanagan Region)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Field Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects across multiple residential and mixed-use properties in the South Okanagan.
This is a senior field leadership role requiring strong construction knowledge, excellent planning ability, and the capacity to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously across different sites.

Types of Projects Managed
The successful candidate will oversee a wide range of active and planned projects, including but not limited to:
Interior Construction & Renovations
- Full apartment unit renovations and tenant turnovers
- Complete suite rebuilds following damage or modernization upgrades
- Kitchen and bathroom renovations (full gut and rebuild)
- Flooring, drywall, insulation, painting, and finishing upgrades
- Plumbing and electrical rough-ins and upgrades (coordinated with trades)
- Mechanical system updates and repairs
Building Envelope & Structural Projects
- Roofing repairs and full roof replacements
- Exterior cladding, siding, and envelope repairs
- Balcony rebuilds, waterproofing, and structural reinforcement
- Window and door replacements across multi-unit buildings
- Foundation repairs and structural remediation work
Exterior Infrastructure Projects
- Parking lot construction, resurfacing, and maintenance
- Asphalt and concrete repairs including sidewalks and walkways
- Drainage systems, grading, and site water management
- Retaining wall construction and landscape hardscaping
- Road and access improvements across large property areas
- Exterior lighting and site safety upgrades
Property Maintenance & Capital Works
- Ongoing preventative maintenance programs
- Emergency repairs across multiple buildings and sites
- Seasonal maintenance planning (snow, drainage, exterior upkeep)
- Long-term capital improvement planning and execution
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple concurrent construction and renovation projects from planning through completion
- Develop clear project schedules, sequencing, and field execution plans
- Coordinate internal crews, subcontractors, and specialty trades
- Ensure all work meets quality standards, building codes, and safety requirements
- Oversee budgeting, cost tracking, for all projects
- Conduct regular site inspections and provide progress reporting
- Manage procurement, materials, scheduling, and logistics
- Identify risks, delays, and issues early and implement corrective actions
- Act as the primary field decision-maker across all job sites
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10+ years experience in construction project management or senior field supervision
- Proven experience managing multi-site residential or mixed-use property portfolios
- Strong background in residential and light commercial construction
- Hands-on understanding of:
- Plumbing systems and rough-ins
- Electrical systems and coordination
- Roofing systems and building envelopes
- Structural rebuilds and major renovations
- Experience managing full apartment renovations or multi-unit rebuild projects
- Strong ability to coordinate multiple trades simultaneously on active job sites
- Demonstrated experience with budgeting, cost tracking, and project forecasting
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications

Requirements (Must Have)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable truck required
- Must own and maintain professional-grade tools suitable for field supervision and site work
- Ability to travel regularly between Penticton, West Kelowna, Peachland, and Summerland
- Full-time field presence required (this is NOT a remote or office-only position)
