Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Installer to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various building components, fixtures, and systems according to project specifications. This role requires a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency, ensuring that all installations meet industry standards and client expectations. The Installer will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver exceptional results on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Install structural components, fixtures, and equipment following blueprints and technical drawings
- Use hand tools such as drills, saws, levels, and measuring devices to complete installations accurately
- Perform carpentry tasks including cutting, framing, and finishing as needed
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installation processes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions to guide work procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment during and after installation tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience with hand tools, carpentry, construction, or handyman work preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of caulking techniques and sealing methods
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic work environments
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for transportation between job sites
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
