Currently we are looking for an Education Course Consultant (Program Advisor) to join our student admission team.
As an Education Course Consultant (Program Advisor), you will perform the following key duties:
- Provide course/program information to individual prospective students
- Interview and follow up prospective students
- Provide prospective students with financial aid information and assist them to apply for financial aid
- Register new students and provide orientation to them
- Provide seminars to prospective student groups on the programs of Metro College of Technology
- Participate in lead generation activities as required
- Participate in related meetings and trainings
- Report to the director of student admissions office
You need to meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor in engineering, technology, business administration or related disciplines
- 3-5 years of work experience in engineering, technology, consulting, student admission, consultative sales
- Good knowledge in mechanical engineering, structural engineering, data science, cloud computing, computer networking, accounting, enterprise resource planning system, marketing/sales, or psychology
- Excellent knowledge and skills in MS Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proactive, approachable, patient, result-driven and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
- Able to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment
- Able to prioritize tasks and complete tasks on time
- Clear ability to identify problems and solve problems
- Able to apply policies and procedures productively
- Self-motivated, dedicated and committed
Type and Period of the position: full-time and permanent
Compensation: base salary + monthly commission (bonus)
