Intermediate Accountant in the
real estate sector in
Vaughan, Ontario.
We're working with our client in the real estate sector who are actively looking for a new member for their finance team. This is a permanent Intermediate Accountant role, with room to grow and develop. Perfect person for this role has public accounting experience, and hands-on experience with year-end working papers, financial statements, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities:-
Preparing year-end working paper files for clients across joint ventures and corporations

Drafting financial statements and reconciling accounts
-
Preparing journal entries and performing year-end closing procedures
- Preparing for audit reviews
- Performing year-end procedures
- Working on multiple client files
Requirements:-
2+ years of accounting experience in public accounting is a must-have
- Strong hands-on experience with year-end working papers including account reconciliations, amortization schedules, and trial balances

Fluency with MS Office, must be a strong user of Excel

Any accounting designation will be a huge asset

Post-secondary completion in finance/accounting
- Experience with T1s and T2s
