ABOUT THE POSITION: Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, PMT is seeking an experienced Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with trouble shooting and repairing CNC machines, milling machines, lathes, and various other manufacturing equipment. Ranging from minor to major repairs. This candidate will be competent in diagnosing, tracing, and repairing electrical problems. Cleaning and maintaining circuits, PLC’s, Drivers, and Power Supplies. A high degree of mechanical knowledge will be required. Experience with Mazak and Matsuura CNC machines is an asset. RESPONIBILITIES:
· Troubleshoot CNC machines, milling machines, and lathes
· Read and interpret blueprints to fabricate parts
· Assemble parts using various tools and equipment
· Repair machines in a timely manner
· Provide operational and/or service training to staff
· Maintain an inventory for repair parts
· Maintain an inventory of shop supplies required to perform repairs.
· Meet departmental and company KPI’s
· Install new machines as required
· Must be available to work weekends and overtime as needed

Safety and Compliance:
· Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and safe work practices.
· Participate in safety training programs and contribute to the development of safety initiatives to promote a culture of safety.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (OH&S) and company policies related to manufacturing and environmental regulations.
Facility Maintenance:
· Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the production area
Documentation and Reporting:
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment inspections, and inventory management.
· Document equipment repairs, parts replacements, and maintenance procedures to track equipment history and performance.
Collaboration and Communication:
· Coordinate with production supervisors and operators to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize disruptions and maximize maintenance.
· Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and safety personnel, to address maintenance issues and implement solutions.
· Provide technical assistance and training to production staff on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
· Flexibility to work non-standard hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 3-5 years of proven experience
· Red Seal Journeyman Millwright
· Highschool or equivalent
· Proven experience as a Millwright
· Proficiency in Fanuc controls
· Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining techniques
· Familiarity with PLC
· Ability to fabricate and assemble parts accurately
· Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles is advantageous
· Maintain a safe and organized work area
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Basic knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Share Point)
· Focuses on continuous self-improvement
· Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
