Location: Mississauga, ON
We are looking for a reliable and motivated General Helper to join our growing metal fabrication shop in Mississauga.
This position combines driving duties with hands-on production support in a manufacturing environment. Full internal training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Drive company van for local pickups and deliveries
- Assist with production and assembly work in the metal shop
- Prepare materials and components for manufacturing
- Package and organize finished products
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform other general shop duties as required
Requirements
- Valid Ontario G driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Minimum 6 years of driving experience in Canada ( G driver's license)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to lift and handle materials safely
- Technical or mechanical aptitude is considered a strong asset
- Experience with tools, manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or repair work is preferred
What We Offer
- Full-time permanent position
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 35 hours per week
- Salary: $44,000 per year
- Company-paid medical benefits valued at up to $2,500 per year after successful completion of a 3-month probation period
