What You’ll Bring
*
Safely operate a forklift to load and unload and stack and store product around the warehouse as needed.
*
Perform regular inspections to ensure the equipment is functioning properly and report any concerns.
*
Handle products safely and securely, and ensure they are transported to the correct designated areas using the warehouse inventory system.
*
Provide support with other warehouse tasks as needed, including packaging products for shipping, and performing periodic inventory audits.
*
Follow company safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
*
Perform other duties as assigned.
Who you are:
- Proven experience as a forklift operator. (Certification is considered an asset)
- Have a strong understanding of forklift safety guidelines and procedures.
- You have high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- Must have CSA approved safety shoes.
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
- Good communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
