Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our innovative design team. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, and elevations using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Create 3D models and visualizations with tools like SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite to support design presentations.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to coordinate design details and resolve technical issues during project development.
- Prepare construction documentation, including specifications, schedules, and material lists that adhere to building codes and standards.
- Assist in project management tasks such as scheduling, budgeting support, and progress tracking to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Conduct site visits to gather construction data, verify existing conditions, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, building regulations, and emerging technologies to continually improve project quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with architectural drafting and modeling using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and building codes gained through hands-on construction experience or related roles.
- Skilled in creating detailed technical drawings and construction documents that meet project requirements.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in CAD drafting standards and capable of working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt designs based on client feedback or site conditions while maintaining technical accuracy.
- A relevant degree or diploma in Architecture Technology or a related field is preferred.
