Role overview
We are seeking clinicians who are passionate about supporting folks through their mental health journey, with an emphasis on supporting neurodivergent individuals.
A day in the life
- Provide complimentary consultations to prospective clients to ensure appropriate fit between clinician and client.
- Provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns and neurodivergent learning styles, such as ASD, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
- Work in collaboration with clients and relevant supervisors, develop client treatment goals and plans.
- Complete relevant clinical notes within a timely manner, adhering to CPBAO standards.
- Participate in clinical consultation and supervision.
- Opportunity to work under the supervision of a registered member of The College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
- Work both individually and collaboratively within the clinical team.
- Adhere to PHIPA guidelines, relevant legislation, and maintain client confidentiality.
Qualifications/Experience
- Master’s degree in psychology or psychotherapy.
- Either an autonomous or qualifying member with the CRPO or an autonomous member or on the path to registration with the CPBAO.
- Minimum of two years clinical experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults.
- Experience working with neurodivergent folks, such as those with ASD, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities is an asset.
- The ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the clinic.
- Knowledge of the Jane App is an asset.
- Ability to autonomously work with couples and families is an asset.
