Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Perform work as outlined on work order with efficiency and accuracy
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning in a timely manner
- Maintain strong communication with management, service advisors and foremen
- Road test vehicles, when required
- Perform quality inspections
- Ensure required documentation is completed and accurate
Qualifications
- Automotive Apprentice 2nd or 3rd year
- Fully licensed Automotive Technician (Red Seal)
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Valid / clean class 5 driver’s license
- Commercial Vehicle Inspector Certificate an asset
