Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the French language and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching students of diverse backgrounds. . Duties
- Develop and deliver engaging French language lessons tailored to various age groups and proficiency levels
- Prepare students for TEF Canada / TCF across all skills
- Conduct mock exams and provide targeted feedback
- Create lesson plans that incorporate speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation
- Incorporate cultural elements related to French-speaking regions to enhance learning experiences
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum and teaching strategies
- Adapt instructional methods to meet the needs of students with special education requirements when necessary
Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential
- Prior teaching or classroom experience is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey language concepts and motivate students
- Experience working with diverse learners, including those with special education needs, is a plus
- Passion for teaching and fostering cultural understanding through language education
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt teaching methods as needed
- Certification or formal training in language instruction or education is advantageous but not mandatory
Pay: $22.00-$52.00 per hour
