We are seeking an experienced_ Project Coordinator_ to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The Project Coordinator supports the successful planning, execution, and closeout of mechanical construction projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role ensures effective coordination between field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, engineering consultants, and clients. The Project Coordinator drives efficiency through proactive communication, document control, cost tracking, and on-site support.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Planning
- Support Project Managers in project planning, scheduling, and project execution strategies
- Assist in developing and tracking project schedules, change orders, and progress documentation
- Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services
- Review mechanical drawings, specs, and submittals for accuracy and constructability
Site & Field Support
- Conduct regular site visits to support field teams and ensure alignment with project requirements
- Track installation progress and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and schedule expectations
- Assist with RFIs, deficiency tracking, commissioning plans, and turnover documentation
Cost & Contract Administration
- Support budget tracking, cost forecasting, and invoice review
- Maintain logs for RFIs, submittals, equipment deliveries, and change events
- Prepare pricing requests and assist in review of quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Facilitate information flow between engineering, trades, and site personnel
- Attend project meetings; prepare meeting minutes and action-item tracking
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners
Qualifications & Skills
- 2–5 years experience in mechanical contracting, construction coordination, or a similar role
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Construction Technology, or relevant field
- Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and building systems (commercial/institutional preferred)
- Proficiency with construction documentation, drawings, and specifications
- Experience with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license; ability to visit active job sites regularly

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
