Consequently, we are looking for a full-time Utility individual who would like to join our team. This position requires shift work on days, afternoons, and potential availability on midnights.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Material handling using lift truck and overhead crane.
- Moving product throughout the facility
- Keeping the facility organized
- Preparing jobs for departments throughout the facility
- Shipping/receiving duties including loading and unloading trucks.
- Help machine setup, take down, and supplying the machines with any coolant/oil.
- Cleaning of Machines.
- Operate stress relieving ovens, straightening press and VSR.
- Assist with the Assembly Bench.
- Other Duties as required.
- This includes but is not limited to learning and operating the following machines as you progress in this role:
- Planer Mill
- Blanchard Grinder
- Radial drill machines
- Shot Blaster
Qualifications:
- Prior forklift and overhead Crane experience is required.
- Basic blue print reading skills an asset.
- Computer skills required.
- Attention to detail/quality and problem solving an asset.
- Team orientated with ability to take initiative.
- Knowledge of manufacturing process and/or technical background.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
