Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Summer Lot Attendant to join our team. This seasonal position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and lot management. Responsibilities
- Assist with the organization and cleanliness of the vehicle lot, ensuring vehicles are properly parked and accessible
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any damages or issues
- Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to perform minor repairs or maintenance on vehicles or equipment as needed
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to proper procedures when handling tools and equipment
- Support team members with various tasks related to lot management and vehicle preparation
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in automotive work preferred
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, or mechanical repairs is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions during daytime hours
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site during the summer months
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and good communication skills
