As a Sales Associate, you’ll be the first point of contact for both new and returning customers. Your goal is to deliver a welcoming, informative, and exceptional retail experience.
What You’ll Do
- Greeting and welcoming new vape clientele and long-time customers, providing personalized consultations to understand their vaping needs and preferences
- Recommend products tailored to individual requirements while educating customers on features, usage, and maintenance of vaping devices
- Demonstrate product functionality, offer tastings where applicable, and share personal vaping insights to assist in decision-making
- Efficiently manage multiple customers at once while maintaining a high standard of service
- Open and close the store punctually, following proper procedures
- Answer customer questions/concerns in person and via phone
- Respond to customer inquiries in person and over the phone, including taking orders for curbside pickup where applicable
- Maintain the store’s appearance, atmosphere, and cleanliness to create a consistent and inviting retail environment
- Support daily operations, including organizing inventory, receiving shipments, and practicing FIFO (First-In, First-Out) merchandising
- Adhere to all loss prevention and safety protocols
- Periodically conducting inventory counts and/or inventory cycle counts
- Utilizing in-store communication where shift overlap is not possible to ensure other team members are equally informed on in-store developments
Who You Are
- Team player with the ability to utilize technology effectively and engage with customers to meet goals
- Excellent listening and communication skills, able to effectively learn and translate information to the customers while encouraging a comfortable atmosphere
- Problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement, who is always learning, open to feedback and takes action as required
- Able to handle customer interactions professionally
- Previous experience in Customer Service and Vaping/Vape Culture is required
