The Prairie Dog Central Railway is looking for an experienced Halloween Event Corodinator to lead the planning, development, and execution of an expanded Halloween season unlike anything we’ve done before.
This is not an entry-level position. We’re looking for someone with proven, real-world event management experience, an impressive track record of delivering successful events, and the ability to turn bold ideas into unforgettable guest experiences.
Position Timeline:
Halloween Event Manager (Term Position) Start Date until mid-November.
August: Part-Time
September & October: Full-Time (or more, as required)
November: Part-Time
Opportunity to transition into an additional leadership role during our Holiday Season.
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to build something from the ground up.
You’ll work alongside our leadership team from the very beginning, helping shape the vision, strategy, attractions, entertainment, and overall guest experience. We aren’t looking to simply host another Halloween event—we’re building a destination that creates experiences, memories, and wow moments… while delivering plenty of scares along the way.
The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional who:
Has extensive event planning and production experience.
Has a proven history of delivering successful seasonal or large-scale events.
Brings an established network of suppliers, performers, vendors, contractors, and industry contacts.
Is highly organized, creative, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Is self-motivated and thrives working independently while providing regular progress updates.
Can take a vision and transform it into an operational reality.

Most importantly, you genuinely love Halloween. You understand what excites guests, what creates unforgettable moments, and how to build immersive experiences that keep people talking long after the season ends.
What you’ll need:
- Your own reliable transportation with a valid drivers license
- Smart Choices /LGCA
- Cell phone & laptop
- A tireless work ethic
- Full availability in October
- Understanding organized chaos is still chaos.
