Responsibilities and Duties:
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Answer the phones.
- Check and respond to Accounts Payables emails.
- Print invoices.
- Voucher invoices for Tuesday folder.
- Voucher and issue cheques for Produce companies.
- Issue cheques/EFT payments based on aged payables report.
- Purchase match delivery slips to PO's and invoices.
- Email purchasing department if any issues with PO's, and received items.
- Confirm with purchasing if service work was done.
- Send remittance advice email for all electronically paid invoices.
- Reconcile accounts to Monthly/Weekly statements.
- L241- enter intercompany transactions and reconciliation.
- Credit cards reconciliation.
- Complete Credit Applications.
- Utility payments and reconciliation.
- File paid invoices.
- Envelope and stamp cheques that are sent by mail.
- Be available to train/answer questions for other co-workers in the department on anything to do with AP work.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years experience
- Famous Software experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Accounts Payable and Receivables experience
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Experience in gathering data and preparing financial reports
