Job Overview:
Hiring for a casual bud tender- support during tourist season/vacation requests.
There is opportunity to move into a part-time / full-time position when availability allows.
Begin training at the end of April. We are looking for a knowledgeable and friendly Budtender to join the team at our Saanichton location. Our ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in retail sales, food service, or a similar role with transferable skills. While no formal education is required, candidates must have a valid Selling It Right Certificate, be at least 19 years old, and be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality customer service and create a welcoming environment
- Assist customers with product recommendations and education
- Maintain strong knowledge of cannabis products and accessories
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system
- Handle cash and basic calculations with care
- Keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Work collaboratively with the team to support daily operations
- Maintain a positive, reliable, and professional attitude
- Ensure compliance with all policies and legal regulations, including customer confidentiality, and ID checks
- Additional tasks as required
