Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Engage in upselling to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a positive shopping experience
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
- Manage merchandising displays to ensure attractive and organized product presentation
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, store policies, and product inventory levels
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and checkout areas
- Handle cashiering duties efficiently, including basic math calculations for transactions and returns
- Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online communication
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with technology sales, product demos, or technical sales is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for engaging with customers effectively
- Basic math proficiency, cash handling experience, and familiarity with POS systems are advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills, time management, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are important for success in this role
Pay: $17.60 per hour
