We are recruiting for a Quality and Innovations Systems Coordinator to provide support to the Quality and Innovations department. The coordinator's primary responsibilities will be related to Empower Simcoe's managing of Passport Funding. Other responsibilities will include supporting Empower Simcoe in maintaining its Accreditation and Ministry Compliance status. This is a contract position, working up to 37.5 hours per week from July 6, 2026, until October 6, 2026. This position has an hourly rate of $32.12 per hour.
Minimum requirements of this position include:

Community College Diploma in Office Administration or equivalent knowledge and
experience as deemed acceptable by the Agency.

A minimum of five (5) years recent full-time work experience in an administration role in the social services field

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with advanced knowledge and abilities in Excel, Word and databases; ability to multi-task, with attention to detail; excellent organization skills with above average time management abilities. Working knowledge of person-centered thinking; personal outcome measures, CQL Outcome based practices and CQL Accreditation processes
Duties and responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

Work in collaboration with people, families, Direct Support Professionals, Supports and Services Supervisors, Empower Simcoe's Finance department and transfer payment agencies to ensure an accountable, timely processing for the reconciliation of individual funding dollars (passport and fee for service)

Assist with maintaining the Basic Assurances monitoring system

Monitor the agency complaint hotline and report to the Quality and Innovations Manager

Respond to telephone inquiries and forwarding to the appropriate personnel

Maintaining and safekeeping of documents, data, spread sheets and other materials as required

Preparing and maintaining program/department files, both hard copy and on computer as required

Assist with the completion and follow up with ministry compliance review systems

Perform audit as requested by the Quality and Innovations Manager

Provide support and resources to Committees under the Quality and Innovations department as needed or requested by the Quality and Innovations Manager
