Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all linens, towels, and guest clothing are cleaned, pressed, and maintained to the highest standards. Previous hotel experience, familiarity with laundry processes, and a strong commitment to cleanliness are highly valued. Responsibilities
- Operate commercial laundry machines such as washers and dryers efficiently and safely
- Sort, fold, and organize linens, towels, and guest clothing according to hotel standards
- Ensure all laundry is cleaned to meet quality standards and guest expectations
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area and equipment
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and linens
- Follow proper safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating machinery
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and clothing
Requirements
- Previous hotel experience or background in laundry or cleaning services is preferred
- Knowledge of laundry equipment operation and maintenance is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads
- Reliable work ethic with a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and service
Pay: $17.25-$17.50 per hour
