D&M Auto Recycling is looking for a reliable and self-motivated general laborer to help around our busy auto recycling yard in Lumby, BC.
This is a flexible position that can work well for:
- Students looking for part-time or summer work
- Someone wanting extra income
- Anyone who enjoys working outdoors and staying active
Hours can be flexible depending on the candidate and workload.
This is not a shop or office position, the majority of the work is outdoors around our 27-acre yard and includes general maintenance and cleanup duties such as:
- Weed spraying and vegetation control
- Grass cutting and yard maintenance
- Sweeping and cleaning work areas
- General property cleanup
- Organizing materials and parts
- Assisting with miscellaneous yard tasks and projects
The ideal candidate:
- Works well independently
- Enjoys physical, hands-on work
- Is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Can safely lift and move heavy items when needed
- Is dependable and shows up ready to work
