The Zesty Lemon Clothing Co. is looking for a full-time Customer Service Associate to join our growing team. While this position begins in customer service, we're looking for someone with the potential to grow into a leadership role as our business continues to expand.
We're not just looking for someone to work in our business, we're looking for someone who wants to grow with it.
About Us
The Zesty Lemon is a locally owned, size-inclusive boutique with two locations, a growing online store, and an amazing community of customers that mean the world to us.
Our mission is simple: to help people feel good in what they wear while creating a shopping experience that's welcoming, fun, and genuinely enjoyable.
We're a small business, which means everyone wears many hats. One moment you might be helping someone find the perfect outfit, the next you're unpacking shipments, fulfilling online orders, merchandising the floor, filming social media content, or helping prepare for a big collection launch.
Some days are calm.
Some days are beautifully chaotic.
We work hard, laugh a lot, and always try to leave things better than we found them.
What You'll Do
Every day is a little different, but your responsibilities may include:
- Providing exceptional customer service and creating an outstanding shopping experience
- Helping customers with styling, sizing, and product recommendations
- Processing purchases, exchanges, and online orders
- Receiving, organizing, and replenishing inventory
- Preparing new arrivals and helping launch new collections
- Creating beautiful, inviting merchandise displays
- Assisting with Shopify and other behind-the-scenes administrative tasks
- Supporting social media content (being comfortable on camera is definitely an asset!)
- Helping with live sales, special events, and community initiatives
- Working closely with your teammates to ensure customers always come first
- Jumping in wherever you're needed to help keep the store running smoothly

Retail and team lead experience is an asset, and experience with Shopify is a bonus, but we're ultimately looking for someone with the right attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Leadership Opportunity
This position starts in customer service, but we're hiring with the future in mind.
As The Zesty Lemon continues to grow, we'd love to develop the right person into a leadership role. If you're someone who enjoys mentoring others, leading by example, solving problems, and taking ownership, there will be opportunities to grow alongside our business.
What We're Looking For
- Full-time availability (approximately 35–40 hours per week)
- Availability for weekdays, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
- A genuine enthusiasm for fashion, people, and small business

Compensation: Starting at $19.00/hour. If you bring retail experience, leadership potential, or skills that would be a great asset to our team, we're happy to discuss a higher starting wage.
