We are seeking a skilled and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements, while ensuring a relaxing and hygienic environment for clients. Responsibilities
- Perform professional nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization in all tools and workstations to ensure client safety
- Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail treatments and products based on client needs
- Upsell retail products related to nail care and beauty to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a friendly, professional environment that encourages repeat visits
- Assist clients with body waxing services when qualified and trained to do so
- Stay updated on the latest nail trends, techniques, and sanitation protocols through ongoing education
Requirements
- Valid state license or certification as a Nail Technician or Cosmetologist with nail specialty credentials
- Experience in performing various nail treatments including body waxing is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for hygiene and safety in a salon setting
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally while focusing on client needs
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
