Duties
- Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage appointment scheduling using Dentrix dental practice management software
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls and providing excellent customer service
- Verify patient information and update electronic medical records accurately within Epic and other systems
- Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments, taking X-rays, and maintaining sterilization protocols
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including insurance verification and payment processing
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk area and clinical workspace to promote safety and efficiency
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and managing correspondence to support daily office operations
Skills
- Proficiency with Dentrix dental software and Epic electronic medical records systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical/dental office setting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, especially with multi-line phone systems and front desk interactions
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with dental assisting procedures, including taking X-rays and sterilization techniques, is a plus
- Demonstrated organizational skills with experience managing office tasks such as appointment scheduling and record keeping

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
