EnVision Consultants Ltd. is looking for a bright, motivated, team-oriented person to join our Rural Servicing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to and lead current projects and explore future opportunities. Our Rural Servicing team consists of skilled environmental and water resource engineers and technologists who specialize in decentralized sewage and water servicing, development approvals, and water resource impact studies.

As part of your role, you may expect to be involved in:

Direct the technical component of decentralized servicing projects, encompassing field methodologies, reporting, and client deliverables. These projects may include on-site sewage system designs, water resource impact assessments, environmental compliance monitoring, sewage maintenance re-inspection programs, development approval studies, construction tendering, and construction inspections, among others.

Liaison with regulators, including the MECP, on development applications, permits and ECA applications.

Develop technical work plans, work schedules, and financial proposals.

Prepare technical reports documenting field investigations, analytical results, and interpretations.

Provide excellent client management to existing and potential clients; including working with EnVision team members to develop new business through marketing initiatives.

In addition, any other functions assigned as part of your employment.
To apply to this position, you should expect to have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field of study from an accredited university or college.

Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario.

8+ years of experience within the industry with prior on-site sewage system experience managing land development, design, approval and construction projects.

Sound understanding of design engineering codes and technical standards.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A valid G license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from office/site (mileage to sites compensated).

Prior consulting experience is an asset, but not required.
