Job Overview
Heritage Autopro and Tire Chinook is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tire & Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will perform routine vehicle maintenance, tire balancing, tire rotation, tire changes, oil changes and fluid top-offs, ensuring customer vehicles are serviced efficiently and to the highest standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for automotive repair and mechanical work to develop their skills in a professional automotive environment. 1st year, 2nd and 3rd year apprenticeship students are welcomed to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, fluid replacements, and basic vehicle inspections with precision and efficiency
- Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment to service vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
- Assist with tire rotations, brake inspections, and other minor repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions professionally
- Uphold Heritage Autopro and Tire standards for quality workmanship and safety protocols
Requirements
- Prior automotive mechanic experience is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as required during service tasks
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Basic understanding of sales principles related to automotive services is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Commitment to safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Pay: $15.00-$27.15 per hour
