As the Branch Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch while driving sales growth, operational efficiency, and employee development to support long-term business success.
- Drive branch profitability and achieve sales growth targets across all business areas.
- Support the expansion of market share by identifying new business opportunities and strengthening customer relationships.
- Monitor competitive activity and market trends while providing strategic feedback on future opportunities and business risks.
- Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and high levels of customer service.
- Manage branch assets and ensure operational goals are aligned with company objectives.
- Work closely with the Director of Credit Services to manage branch account receivables and support sound financial performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop branch employees to build a motivated, high-performing team environment.
- Foster a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and long-term success for employees, customers, and the organization.
- Provide coaching and support to employees while promoting professional growth and operational excellence.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers by ensuring consistent service quality and operational reliability.
- Leverage industry and product support knowledge to support departmental operations and customer satisfaction initiatives.
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate:
- Relevant post-secondary education is considered an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry.
- 3–5 years of experience in a progressively responsible management role.
- Proven background in product support and departmental operations.
- Strong understanding of branch operations, asset management, and sales performance metrics.
- Experience managing receivables and supporting financial performance objectives.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment products, services, and operational processes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative leadership style.
- Results-driven mindset with a commitment to operational excellence and customer success.
- Strong work ethic with a dedication to continuous improvement and high performance.
