Role Overview
We are a specialized distributor of industrial machinery serving the metalworking, automotive and architectural sectors. We are seeking a Parts Technician to manage our spare parts processes and provide basic technical support to our North American clients. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Mississauga, ON, offering a relaxed and collaborative work environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Handle parts and service inquiries via phone and email; provide basic technical troubleshooting and identify required components.
- Parts Logistics: Manage the full cycle of quoting, invoicing, packing, and shipping parts and consumables.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and source parts locally or from European suppliers as needed.
- Service Liaison: Review field technician reports and route incoming service requests to the appropriate team members.
- Hands-on Support: Assist with equipment repairs, installations, and trade show setups as required.
Requirements
- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability.
- Communication: Professional English (written and verbal); French is an asset.
- Operational Skills: Excellent organizational habits and computer proficiency.
- Physicality: Ability to work in an office setting with occasional hands-on field or warehouse work.
