Job Overview
We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare and support for the family. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children while assisting with daily routines and activities. The ideal candidate will be dependable, compassionate, and experienced in working with infants, children of various ages, including those with special needs. Duties
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times during scheduled shifts
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, including meal preparation tailored to dietary needs
- Engage children in educational activities, playtime, and age-appropriate learning experiences
- Tutor and assist with homework, especially reading English, teaching, and developmental exercises as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning up after children, laundry, and maintaining a tidy environment
- Follow family routines for naps, bedtime, and daily schedules
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns
Requirements
- University Degree
- First aid certification
- Prior experience working with children and babies (over 1 year)
- Cook meals
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities (over 1 year)
- Experience tutoring (in English)
- Patience, empathy, and reliability
- Light cleaning duties
- Good communication skills
- Must be responsible, punctual, and able to adapt to different family routines
- A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their well-being
- Flexible schedule which includes, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
