Job Description
As a Service Technician Lead at Sport Chek, you have a passion for sports and live an active lifestyle. You will be responsible for all aspects of the Service Shop, including customer service, sales, loss prevention and product servicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer experience to support your team in achieving performance targets

Ensure all documentation is completed as per the Sport Chek standards

Ensure all tools are used safely and correctly cared for and maintained

Assembling/disassembling different types of bicycles

Crank arm replacement, change derailleurs, headset overhaul, chain check and replacement

Ski and snowboard mounting, waxing & tuning
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Mechanically inclined; you enjoy fixing and repairing things

Previous experience working in a bike shop AND/OR working in a service shop repairing and servicing ski and snowboards

Passion for your activities and a drive to inspire others to be active
Educational Level
High school education or current enrollment in high school

Our typical hiring range is between $18.60 and $26.00 per hour. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, store size and market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
