We’re looking for a hybrid Executive Administrator in the non-profit/regulatory industry.

The Executive Administrator will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Executive Director, ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the leadership office. This is a predominantly in-office role, based in south Edmonton. This position offers direct exposure to executive leadership and board governance and is well-suited to a highly organized, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
Executive Administrator responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Director, including complex calendar management, meeting coordination, and correspondence
Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations with a high degree of accuracy, clarity, and professionalism
Coordinate Board and committee meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and tracking follow-up actions
Act as a liaison between the Executive Director, internal teams, Board members, and external stakeholders
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgment
Support special projects, events, and organizational initiatives with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
Maintain organized records and continuously improve administrative processes and efficiencies
The successful candidate has:
5+ years of experience in a senior administrative or executive support role
Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience supporting senior leadership, with exposure to Board governance required
Non-profit or regulatory experience is considered an asset
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail
A professional, resilient, and adaptable approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and work independently
Willingness and ability to travel to Calgary approximately every second month
Compensation and benefits:
The discussed salary range is $70,000 – $80,000 depending on experience
Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
