Job Overview
Strong Base Group is looking for an experienced Landscape Construction Foreman to lead our crew on residential and commercial landscape construction projects.
We are looking for a hands-on foreman who takes pride in building high-end landscape projects and delivering quality workmanship. The ideal candidate has strong experience in hardscape construction, leadership skills, and the ability to manage job sites efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise landscape construction crews on-site
- Install and oversee hardscape construction, including:
- Read and interpret landscape construction drawings
- Coordinate daily tasks and keep projects on schedule
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and job site safety
- Operate equipment when required
- Communicate with project managers and clients when needed
- Train and mentor crew members
Leadership Role
The foreman will be responsible for:
- Managing a 2–4 person crew
- Running daily job site operations
- Coordinating with project management
- Ensuring projects meet Strong Base Group quality standards
Typical Projects
- Interlock patios and walkways
- Natural stone installations
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in landscape construction or hardscape installation
- Previous crew leader or foreman experience preferred
- Concrete experience is an asset
- Ability to read landscape construction plans
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Assets
- Experience operating skid steers or mini excavators
- Experience with high-end residential landscape construction
- Strong leadership and communication skills
