Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and professionalism, as well as the ability to manage time effectively in order to meet delivery schedules.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to transport non hazards solid waste.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. complete and implement hazard control forms
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedule status and any issues that may arise.
- Load and unload trucks safely. (all training given)
- Utilize equipment as necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class 1 Driver’s License must have had Class 1 for a minimum of 3 YEARS
- Clean 3 year drivers abstract.
- Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality and reliability.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
