We are looking for an experienced and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our busy spring and suspension repair shop. The successful candidate will primarily perform welding and fabrication work on heavy-duty truck and trailer suspension systems while assisting with mechanical repairs as required.

Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and stick welding on steel components.
- Fabricate, repair, and reinforce heavy truck and trailer components.
- Repair and modify suspension systems, frames, hangers, and brackets.
- Install and replace leaf springs, suspension components, and related hardware.
- Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and measurements.
- Safely operate welding and fabrication equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Assist technicians with heavy truck and trailer repairs when required.
- Perform other shop duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous welding and fabrication experience required.
- Experience with heavy trucks, trailers, or commercial equipment is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to perform MIG welding (stick welding experience is an asset).
- Mechanical aptitude with the willingness to assist in truck repairs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's licence preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
