Position Summary
The Construction Foreman is a working field leader responsible for delivering electrical construction work efficiently, to specification, and safely, while leading a crew.
Responsible for daily execution, short-term planning, and field productivity, this role ensures all on-site work is completed on schedule. Additionally, you will mitigate project risks by identifying and escalating issues before they impact the timeline.
Core Responsibilities
- Execute Work: Perform and lead electrical installation, layout, and troubleshooting in compliance with drawings, codes, and quality standards
- Lead Crew: Direct daily tasks, coordinate activities, and drive productivity and accountability on-site
- Plan Short-Term Work: Maintain a rolling 3-day production plan aligned with materials, site readiness, and Superintendent direction
- Track & Report: Monitor progress, productivity, and material usage; provide accurate daily reporting and feedback
- Identify & Escalate Issues: Flag RFIs, changes, constraints, and site conflicts and escalate to the project Management team as required
- Ensure Safety & Quality: Enforce safety compliance, maintain site standards
- Develop Crew: Train, mentor, and promote a high-performance, accountable team culture

Core Competencies
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Licensed Electrician
- Strong working knowledge of the current Canadian Electrical Code regulations.

Rate of pay is commensurate with skills and experience
