DKI Rocky Cross Construction is a leading disaster restoration contractor specializing in the repair and reconstruction of residential and commercial properties damaged by fire, flood, water, hail, storm, asbestos and bio hazard-related losses. We are committed to restoring properties and helping our customers recover from unexpected events.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Carpenter to join our restoration and reconstruction team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of carpentry and construction tasks related to insurance restoration projects and property repairs.
Responsibilities
- Perform framing, finishing, drywall installation, and general carpentry work.
- Complete repairs resulting from fire, flood, water, hail, storm, and asbestos-related damages.
- Install doors, trim, cabinetry, flooring, and other building components.
- Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and project specifications.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Work independently and as part of a restoration team.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, project managers, subcontractors, and customers.
- Ensure work is completed to high quality standards and within project timelines.
Qualifications
- Previous carpentry experience required.
- Experience in restoration or reconstruction work is considered an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Must own and wear CSA-approved steel-toed boots.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
