We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Freight Forwarding & Import/Export Operations Coordinator to manage international shipping operations and ensure exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
You will manage day-to-day import and export operations, coordinating shipments, schedules, and documentation while ensuring compliance with customer SOPs, company KPIs, and regulatory requirements. This includes preparing accurate quotations, tracking shipments, resolving delays or issues, handling billing, and collaborating with internal teams and international partners. You will also maintain records, support month-end processes, participate in ongoing training, and perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with a bachelor’s degree preferred, and at least 2 years of experience in freight forwarding and import/export operations. Experience with CargoWise and Microsoft Office Suite within the past 1–2 years is required. The role also requires strong knowledge of regulations such as ITAR, DG, TSA, export regulations, and customs compliance, along with general computer skills. Candidates must be detail-oriented, reliable, adaptable, able to work in a KPI-driven environment, and capable of walking stairs as the building has no elevator.
