Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth overnight operations, providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining the hotel’s standards of excellence. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, personable, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities during the overnight shift. Previous hotel experience is preferred but not required; a strong customer service background and excellent communication skills are essential. Responsibilities
- Perform nightly audit procedures to ensure accuracy of guest accounts and financial records
- Check guests in and out efficiently while providing friendly and professional service
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with tact and courtesy
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer calls promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, reservations, and billing activities
- Ensure the front desk area remains clean, organized, and welcoming throughout the shift
- Assist with guest services such as providing local information, coordinating transportation, or addressing special needs
- Follow hotel policies regarding security, safety, and confidentiality at all times
- Support other departments as needed to ensure overall guest satisfaction during overnight hours
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong phone etiquette and communication abilities
- Experience with front desk operations in a hotel environment preferred
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
