Overview
We are currently hiring a professional AZ Driver in Brantford to join our transportation team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and safely across various routes. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment operation and possess a valid AZ license. Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks and freight vehicles across designated routes
- Load, secure, and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip
- Assist with heavy equipment operation and perform basic automotive repairs if needed
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation duties
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel to coordinate deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience with forklift operation, freight handling, and heavy equipment is preferred
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and perform basic automotive repairs is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation purposes
- Ability to work independently and adhere to schedules in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to load/unload freight and handle heavy equipment as required
